From July 22 to 27, the 8th China-Africa Water Environment Forum was held at the China-Africa Joint Research Center in Nairobi, Kenya, co-sponsored by the China-Africa Water Association and the Chinese Academy of Sciences - China-Africa Joint Research Center。With the theme of "Strengthening Sustainable Water Resources Management and Disaster Prevention and Reduction in Developing Countries", the Forum aims to deepen scientific research, exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa in the field of water resources。

Invited by the China-Africa Water Association and the organizing committee of the 8th China-Africa Water Environment Forum, Wang Weiping, Qu Shisong, Huang Bo and Liu Yuyu attended the forum。During the Forum，More than 100 experts and scholars from China, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Kenya and nearly 30 universities and research institutes of international organizations in Kenya gathered here，Listened to 13 excellent keynote speeches and 54 forum presentations，They exchanged and shared the latest research findings and best practices in water management, technological innovation and international cooperation。
